Product description
The wall flashing neatly finishes the transition between the roof panel and the rising wall. It covers the gap on the ridge side and protects this exposed area from the elements. Thanks to its adjustable angle, it adapts to different roof pitches and connection scenarios.
- Covers the gap between the roof panel and the wall
- Finishing profile between the roof panel and the wall
Material: 0.75 mm galvanised sheet steel, 25 µm PE-coated
Typical applications
The wall connection flange is used wherever a roof panel joins a higher wall. Typical applications include:
- Finishing between the roof panel and the rising wall on the ridge side
- Cladding of the gap between the roof and the wall
- Connection of monopitch roofs to an adjacent building wall
- Weather protection at junctions between roof and wall surfaces
The profile is made of 0.75 mm thick galvanised sheet steel with a 25 µm PE coating and is available in the colours RAL 7016, 8012, 9002, 9006 and 9007. The adjustable angle, ranging from 80° to 160°, allows adaptation to different roof pitches.
When should you choose this profile?
The wall flashing is the right choice for the transition between a roof panel and an adjacent, higher wall. However, for the ridge area where two roof surfaces meet, the external ridge flashing and the internal ridge flashing are intended. For the eaves area, eaves flashings and wind deflectors are suitable. You can find an overview of all profiles in the ‘Edge Profiles’ category.
Compatible products
The wall flashing is installed together with roof panels. Suitable products include:
- Roof panels in the desired thickness, such as the 40 mm roof panel or the 60 mm roof panel. You can find the full range under ‘Sandwich Panels – Roof’.
- Screws for fixing the edge profiles, such as the 7550 screw, which is specifically designed for edge profiles.
- Additional edge profiles for the ridge, eaves and valley, colour-matched to the same shade.
You can find an overview of all accessories in our Accessories section.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the wall flashing used for?
It covers and protects the junction between a roof panel and a higher, adjoining wall. This protects the otherwise open gap from rain and wind and provides a neat finish.
Does the profile suit any roof pitch?
The angle can be adjusted from 80° to 160°, so the profile suits most roof pitches. For special connection situations, we’d be happy to advise you on the most suitable design.
In what lengths and colours is the profile available?
The profile is available in lengths of 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 metres, as well as in the colours RAL 7016, 8012, 9002, 9006 and 9007. We can manufacture lengths of 2.5 metres or more on request.
What screws do I need for fixing?
Screw 7550 is suitable for fixing edge profiles. The correct choice depends on the substrate; we’d be happy to advise you on this.
