The eaves flashing covers the cut edges of the roof panels at the lower edge of the roof and directs rainwater and meltwater into the gutter. It acts as the inlet flashing at the eaves and ensures that water runs off the roof in a controlled manner. In doing so, it also protects the exposed ends of the panels from the elements.

The eaves flashing is used wherever the roof surface meets the gutter at its lower edge. Typical applications include:

• Cladding of cut edges at the eaves on roof panels
• Inlet flange for rainwater and meltwater into the guttering
• Controlled water drainage at the lower edge of the roof
• Weather protection for the exposed panel edges at the eaves

The profile is made of 0.75 mm thick galvanised sheet steel with a 25 µm PE coating and is available in the colours RAL 7016, 8012, 9002, 9006 and 9007. The adjustable angle from 0° to 180° allows adaptation to different roof pitches.

The eaves flashing is the right choice for the transition from the roof to the guttering, as it directs the water straight into the guttering. The wind deflector covers the front edges of the panels in the same area; both complement each other at the eaves. The verge flashing is designed for the side finish at the gable, whilst the ridge flashing is used on the outside and inside of the ridge. The eaves flashing is installed together with roof panels. Suitable products:

What is the eaves flashing used for?

What is the difference between the eaves flashing and the wind deflector?

Is the profile suitable for any roof pitch?

The angle can be adjusted from 0° to 180°, so the profile suits any roof pitch. For special connection scenarios, we’ll advise you on the most suitable design.

In what lengths and colours is the profile available?

The profile is available in lengths of 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 metres, as well as in the colours RAL 7016, 8012, 9002, 9006 and 9007. We manufacture lengths of 2.5 metres or more on request.
